Welcome to my blog! My name is Matthew Streeter and I work in IT Security focused on Identity Access Management in an enterprise corporate environment. I am currently internally focused on upskilling my talents in the Identity Security world and preparing to finally complete my Bachelors degree with the goal to start this summer.
My intention is to document my professional journey and growth here with blog posts that are focused on IT Identity, Security, and Automation. I have always enjoyed other IT professionals’ technical blog/portfolios that would provide insights, guides, and instructions which I found helpful and informative.
Personally outside of work, my immediate certification focus is to earn the Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300). My goal is to get this earned before the end of April 2026. This certification is one that is the most applicable to my daily role as an Identity Access Management Engineer.
Once I get the SC-300 certification passed, I will turn my focus on starting at Western Governors University (WGU) aiming to earn my Bachelor of Science, Information Technology where I’ll be able to earn additional certifications with the degree that includes the CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Project+, Amazon AWS Cloud Practitioner, and LPI Linux Essentials.
Posts on this website will mostly related to the Microsoft ecosystem as that is where my focus is professionally and individually for my studies topics around Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Identity Lifecycle Workflows, System Administration, Governance, Security, and Authentication.
