White Grabs UBLE Reliever of the Year Award

"Winning the Reliever of the Year Award at age 34 is something I didn't really expect, but I'll take it," he said.

White's strong season saw him fashion a 1.31 ERA through 48 innings. He had 27 saves in 45 relief appearances and also put up 38 strikeouts and 5 walks. Opponents hit only .243 against the tough reliever.
