Wildcard Series Goes the Distance, Toledo Prevails
Confederation League fans were certainly not disappointed with this East Wildcard Series.

The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the <Toledo Ducks:team#51> prevailing over the <San Luis Obispo Saints:team#105> to advance to the League Championship Series.

Toledo won the final game by a score of 7-2 at Saints Stadium and that sealed the series 3-2.

"Things were tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now -- the hard work is over, for now," said second baseman <Matt Toman:player#11106>, who earned MVP honors.

For the series, Toman hit .417 with a .440 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The <Toledo Ducks:team#51> will play against the <Ottawa Lynx:team#52> in the next round. Ottawa had a bye in the Wildcard Series. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
