Hit Parade: Casiano Pops 5 Hits
After a 5-hit effort to lead <El Paso:team#29>'s 30-9 victory over the <Flagstaff Venom:team#30>,  right fielder <Matt Casiano:player#10344> told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day."

"It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the Union League-level is really something special." 

The 22-year-old player earned his accolades today at El Paso Park with a spectacular 5-for-5 game against the Venom. 

"His swing is getting there," said Express skipper  , who spoke glowingly of <Casiano:player#10344> after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. <Matt:player#10344> did that to perfection today." 

<Matt Casiano:player#10344> singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 5th and singled in the 6th.

In the 2068 season <Casiano:player#10344> is hitting .359 with 23 home runs.
