<North Carolina Aviators:team#8> left fielder <Frank Rodriguez:player#7645> put on a dazzling display of power today at Todd Berry Memorial Field against the <Illinois Warhawks:team#74>. In the 7-4 Aviators victory <Rodriguez:player#7645> penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts.

"He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," <Illinois:team#74> manager <Steven Luker:manager#82> said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well."

Along with his three home runs, the 28-year-old had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. 

"Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Rodriguez said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today."

<Frank Rodriguez:player#7645> hit a solo-shot off <Wayne Dicochea:player#12624> in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off <Wayne Dicochea:player#12624> in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off <Woo-jin Lee:player#11913> in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.

Currently Rodriguez is batting .234 with 22 home runs, 59 RBIs and 44 runs scored.
