Delray Beach's Hagedoorn Will Miss Season
The doctors have spoken and <Ben Hagedoorn:player#790> of the <Delray Beach Grasshoppers:team#66> didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Hagedoorn sustained his season-ending injury during the <Redington Beach Panic:team#63> game yesterday at Grasshoppers Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the <Delray Beach:team#66> medical staff reported <Hagedoorn:player#790> had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6-7 months.

Currently <Hagedoorn:player#790> has 20 relief appearances, saving 3. His record is 0-2 with 21 strikeouts in 25 innings and a 9.00 ERA.
