Alonso Gone for Season in Olympia
<Lorenzo Alonso:player#6448> of the Battle Cats just might have to call it quits for the season. The 24-year-old <Olympia:team#95> starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the <Brooklyn Dodgers:team#19> recently at Battle Cats Park. Alonso suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Battle Cats medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 12-13 months.

This year <Alonso:player#6448> has a 2-3 mark in 12 starts with a 5.72 ERA. He has given up 86 hits in 67.2 innings, struck out 37 and issued 24 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .319 batting average against him.
