Crabpots End Lee's Streak
The 28-game hitting streak of <Trenton Owls:team#34> left fielder <Tyler Lee:player#10811> came to an end today at Crabpots Field. The <Ocean City Crabpots:team#25> held him hitless in 1 at-bat and also sent the Owls down to defeat, 2-1.

Later, Lee acknowledged to BNN reporters that the hit streak meant something to him.

"It was special," he said, "but I think other people make a bigger deal out of it than I do, or the players do. It was what we're all supposed to do; go out and hit the ball and try to score runs. It was a cool deal, but it's over now. Let's try to start a new one."

Lee is hitting .373 this year with 8 home runs, 34 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has 72 hits in 193 at-bats, 20 walks and a .445 on-base percentage. <Lee:player#10811> has played in 49 games.
