McDonald Gets Award for Relief Work
<Josh McDonald:player#4368> said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 19 years old.

But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the <Arlington College Hurricanes:team#125> rising star has won the National Conference Reliever of the Year Award for 2068.

He captured the award on the strength of his 0.92 ERA over 29.1 innings. He also had 9 saves in 21 relief appearances, 30 strikeouts and only 10 walks.

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. <Zach Nance:player#4884> of the <Madison College Sundevils:team#129> finished second in voting, while <Mike Brech:player#4631> of the <Oklahoma City College Wardogs:team#124> finished third.
