Buzzers Advance to High School Cup
The championship aspirations of the <Kansas City HS Buzzers:team#150> are still alive and well, while the <Long Beach HS Terriers:team#170> are left to wait until next year.

Kansas City HS won the clinching game of the High School LCS 3-2 over Long Beach HS at Buzzers Ballpark, to win the series 4-2.

"You feel like a little kid again, celebrating something like this," said first baseman <D.J. Hanson:player#12953>, who paced the Kansas City HS offense and was named series MVP. "We take everything real seriously when we're on the field, but after a series is over you can finally relax a little bit."

Hanson claimed the MVP by racking up 10 hits for a .455 average, with a .478 on-base percentage. He had 5 home runs, 15 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The <Kansas City HS Buzzers:team#150> don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the <Akron HS Cobras:team#141> - <Old Westbury HS Dukes:team#135> series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The High School Cup schedule will be announced after the High School LCS finishes.
