Virginia Loses Lúcio Sánchez, Will Miss Season
The doctors have spoken and <Lúcio Sánchez:player#11879> of the <Virginia Colonels:team#182> didn't like what he heard. The 33-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Sánchez sustained his season-ending injury during the <Indiana Gophers:team#195> game yesterday at Spring Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the <Virginia:team#182> medical staff reported <Sánchez:player#11879> had a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 10 months.
