Best ELE Reliever Named
<Manny López:player#728> of the <Wilmington Eagles:team#24> proved this season that age is just a number, as the 34-year-old relief stud turned in a season that was better than all his East peers.

"Winning the Reliever of the Year Award at age 34 is something I didn't really expect, but I'll take it," he said.

López's strong season saw him fashion a 2.58 ERA through 45.1 innings. He had 27 saves in 41 relief appearances and also put up 41 strikeouts and 17 walks. Opponents hit only .289 against the tough reliever.
