Havre de Grace Advances to Confederation Cup
The League Championship Series didn't live up to the billing from those who thought it would be an all-out battle to the last game.

But the <Havre de Grace Ducks:team#41> are no doubt pleased by the results, as they have knocked out the <Ottawa Lynx:team#52> 4-2 to advance to the Confederation Cup.

"It doesn't matter how you win it, as long as you win it and get yourself moving forward," said Ducks first baseman <Jake Anderson:player#10046>. "I know a lot of people thought this was going to be a really tight series the whole way through, but we're glad it didn't go right down to the wire."

Havre de Grace won the final game by a score of 6-2 at Duck Pond.

Anderson was named series MVP after hitting .381 with a .458 on-base percentage. He also had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The <Havre de Grace Ducks:team#41> don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the <Cadiz Bat Hogs:team#54> - <Corpus Christi Hooks:team#47> series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The Confederation Cup schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
