Great Day for Gleason, Hits for Cycle
It was a special day for <Jim Gleason:player#12104> at Hammers Field -- the <Ottawa Lynx:team#52> center fielder hit for the cycle, getting every type of hit possible.

"He hit everything we threw," said Mobile manager  . "There was just no getting him out today."

For the game, he was 4-for-7 with 3 runs batted in and 2 runs scored.

"I'm glad for <Jim:player#12104>," Ottawa manager   said. "It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing and a nice feather in his cap. Would've been better if we could have won the game for him, too."

Speaking to the press after the game, <Gleason:player#12104> said the key for his record-setting day was "just getting some good pitches to hit."

<Jim Gleason:player#12104> grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off <Octávio Carrión:player#1060> in the 3rd, walked in a run in the 5th, singled in the 7th, tripled in the 8th, struck out in the 10th, grounded out in the 13th and doubled in the 15th.
