Season May Be Over for Rage McKinney
The doctors have spoken and <James McKinney:player#7776> of the <Kissimmee Rage:team#65> didn't like what he heard. The 18-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. McKinney sustained his season-ending injury during the <Redington Beach Panic:team#63> game yesterday at Rage Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the <Kissimmee:team#65> medical staff reported <McKinney:player#7776> had a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6 months.

This year <McKinney:player#7776> has recorded a 1-5 mark. In 14 starts he has fanned 38 batters in 51.1 innings with a 10.34 ERA.
