Hit #2000 for Danger López
"It would have been a lot nicer if my 2000th hit had won the game," said <Orlando López:player#881> after the <New Mexico Danger:team#1> had been tripped up by the <Pennsylvania Railroaders:team#4>, 6-2, spoiling his big day. The Danger first baseman gained access to the exclusive 2000-hit club by going 2-for-4 in the game played at PNC Park.

"The standing ovation by the fans is not something I will ever forget," <López:player#881> said to the press after the game. "I think even the Railroaders fans were cheering me."

<López:player#881> has a career .277 average with 2000 hits, 393 doubles, 33 triples, 474 home runs, 1275 RBIs, and 1183 runs scored to date.
