Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Hancock
At the age of 16, <Matt Hancock:player#10559> says he still has a lot to learn about life in High School League.

But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the <Milwaukee HS Saints:team#161> reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2058 Republic League Reliever of the Year Award.

"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the  Onalaska, Wisconsin native said.

For the season, Hancock had 1 save in 16 relief appearances, which totaled 18. He fanned 27 betters, while walking 9 and put up a record of 1-0 to go with his 0.50 ERA.

He received 37 first place votes out of a possible 40. <Eddie Engel:player#10177> of the <Sierra Vista Southeast HS Cedars:team#149> finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while <Pat Delaney:player#10393> of the <Mesa HS Warlords:team#173> finished third.
