Oregon-Colorado Fight Results in Suspensions
Yesterday at Multnomah Stadium <José García:player#8497> and <Tommy Rogers:player#5744> got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the <Oregon Explorers:team#75> and <Colorado Bears:team#2>. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game.

Today the league office notified the ballclubs that <García:player#8497> will have to sit out 4 while <Rogers:player#5744> would be given a 2-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. 

<García:player#8497> is currently hitting at a .312 pace with 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and has scored 8 times. 

<Rogers:player#5744> has made 12 relief appearances this year and notched no saves. To date in 16.2 innings he has a 1-1 record, 7.56 ERA with 24 strikeouts and 9 walks.
