Kansas Left Fielder May's Premier Rookie
When you think of rookies, you think of men in their early to mid-20's. Despite the fact that <Dave Harris:player#5809> is 30, he made a big splash by putting up solid numbers to win West Rookie of the Month honors.

He told BNN reporters at the press conference, "I'm thrilled beyond words. All I can say is... better late than never."

In May, the <Kansas:team#180> left fielder hit .414 while rapping out 46 hits, 8 home runs, 25 RBIs and 20 runs scored.

This year <Harris:player#5809> is hitting .351 with 11 home runs and 35 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .373 clip and scored 28 runs.
