College League Championship Series Goes the Distance, El Paso College Prevails

As it turns out, the <El Paso College Missiles:team#115> are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the <Omaha College Canaries:team#111> 8-6 tonight at Counts Ballpark in order to win the College League Championship Series and book a place in the next round.

"It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said Munoz, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about."

Munoz hit .429 with a .484 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 11 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The <El Paso College Missiles:team#115> will play against the <Wilkes-Barre Township College Villians:team#122> in the next round. Wilkes-Barre Township College won their series against the <Santa Ana College Steelhawks:team#128> 4 games to 2. The College Cup schedule will be announced after the College League Championship Series finishes.
