Resonance Win at Illinois, 4-3
<Washington Resonance:team#91> starter <Jeremy Payton:player#6091> pitched a strong game against the <Illinois Warhawks:team#74> at Todd Berry Memorial Field, leading the Resonance to victory, 4-3. The winning pitcher was Payton, now 4-3. He tossed 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 6. <Kevin Koch:player#4479> picked up the save, his 11th.

Washington used the bat of <Hedeon Elin:player#922> to get the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run  home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Resonance ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"It feels good to get this one," Elin told the Washington Herald.

With the win, Washington pushed its record to 22-17.
