Resonance Bridle Warhawks, 4-2
The <Washington Resonance:team#91> topped the <Illinois Warhawks:team#74>, 4-2, in Frontier League action at Todd Berry Memorial Field. The standout performance belonged to Washington pitcher and Mobile, Alabama, native <Randy Johnson:player#3618>. In 5.2 innings, Johnson surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 3 and  walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. The win elevated the Resonance to 21-16.

It could have been a different outcome for Washington, had it not been for <Hedeon Elin:player#922>, the 12-year veteran . Elin contributed a run-scoring  double in the top of the fourth inning to put Washington up, 3-2.

<Illinois:team#74> manager <Paul Nicholls:manager#44> said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
