Lacy Takes This Week's Trophy
No single hit brought <Joe Lacy:player#7253> Player of the Week honors -- the <Texas Spurs:team#73> third baseman corralled the award with a consistent approach in every at-bat.

"Hitting is all about discipline," said Lacy. "When you lose focus, start to lunge at the ball and swing too aggressively... swinging at a lot of bad pitches... that's when your average starts to drop and you wind up fighting for playing time. You're most successful when you concentrate on the ball and make 'em throw strikes."

Concentrate he did. <Lacy:player#7253> stroked 11 hits in 21 at-bats while cranking out 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored.

So far this season <Lacy:player#7253> has gotten 44 hits in 120 at-bats for a .367 batting average with 5 home runs. His stats include 16 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has played in 32 games.
