Santa Ana College Sweeps into the College League Championship Series
Many baseball pundits expected a close series in the National Conference College Wildcard Series. It turned out quite a bit different.

The <Santa Ana College Steelhawks:team#128> swept aside the <Arlington College Hurricanes:team#125> to advance to the College League Championship Series, winning the final game by a 3-2 score at Arlington College Grounds.

The series MVP was right fielder <Harry Geaslin:player#10664>, who hit .400 with a .538 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 3 runs.

"We expected this series to go right down to the wire, so to sweep is a bit of a surprise," he said. "But we'll take it."

The <Santa Ana College Steelhawks:team#128> don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the <Ft. Wayne College Steamrollers:team#121> - <Wilkes-Barre Township College Villians:team#122> series. Wilkes-Barre Township College leads the series 2 games to 1. The College League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the College Wildcard Series finishes.
