Lecain Gets No-Hitter Against Rochester College
<Steve Lecain:player#12347> really did a number on the <Rochester College Swans:team#120> at Swans Ballpark today -- and that number was zero.

The <Plaster Rock College Whalers:team#113> hurler had what he later called "one of the best moments of my life," tossing a no-hitter and leading the Whalers to victory, 2-0.

"This is something special," Lecain said. "I knew from the fifth inning that I had a no-hitter working. I tried to get it out of my mind, but you just can't. They have too many scoreboards in the park. They're everywhere you look."

The left-hander faced only 28 batters in the no-hit gem, struck out 8 and walked 1.

"We simply couldn't get any wood on the ball," Rochester College manager said when asked about the epic performance. "<Lecain:player#12347> was brilliant out there. He certainly had our number."

To date this season <Lecain:player#12347> is 2-1 with 5 starts and an ERA of 1.55 with 44 strikeouts in 29 innings.
