11 Straight Wins for Twin Towers

The <New York Twin Towers:team#78> topped the <Ontario Blue Pirates:team#77> by the score of 8-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder <Warner Fleet:player#6998>. Fleet went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double,  and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Twin Towers on the day. The win was credited to <Jorge Aybar:player#1961> in relief. His record improves to 4-2. <Ken Daniels:player#1130> took the loss.

New York used a timely hit from <Kanto Kuwahara:player#8654> to get the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run  double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Twin Towers ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"We maximized our offense today," said New York skipper <Richard Hager:manager#62>. "That makes everyone's life easier."

The first-place Twin Towers have won 11 straight.
