Blue Pirates Win at Illinois, 5-1
<Ontario:team#77> starter <Kei-thing Xiang:player#9128> put a stranglehold on the <Illinois:team#74> offense. The left-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Blue Pirates to a 5-1 win. Xiang went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 10-10.  With the win over Illinois, the Blue Pirates improved to 67-85.

Ontario relied on the hitting of <Chris Armstrong:player#10991> to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 3-run  home run in the top of the third inning to put the Blue Pirates on top, 3-0. For the game, <Armstrong:player#10991> had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Armstrong told a Ontario Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
