Illinois Beats Minnesota, 5-1
The <Illinois Warhawks:team#74> picked up a win at Dylan Park at Hennepin, taking down the <Minnesota Mallards:team#5>, 5-1. Starting pitcher <Adam Booth:player#5923> was a big reason why. Booth got the win, improving to 6-10. He allowed 5 hits and walked 0 over 8 innings. Booth allowed 1 run. The last-place Warhawks improved to 62-68.

Illinois used the timely hitting of <Eric Rigsby:player#4954> to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 3-run  home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Warhawks ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Booth.
