Great Day for Williams, Hits for Cycle
It was a quite a day for <Ed Williams:player#2866> at Lions Stadium.

He hit for the cycle, belting out every kind of hit there is -- a single, double, triple and home run. The <Kentucky:team#7> second baseman accomplished the rare feat during his team's 6-0 victory over the <New Jersey Athletics:team#80>.

"I never even thought about hitting for the cycle and what do you know, I did it," he told BNN reporters at the postgame press conference. "The cycle really doesn't matter to me, it's the win that's important."

<Williams:player#2866> went 4-for-4 in the game with 1 run batted in and 2 runs scored.

<Ed Williams:player#2866> doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off <Josh Witte:player#4694> in the 8th.

In 77 games this year Williams has posted a .278 average and put up these numbers: 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and 39 runs scored.
