Aviators Lose Again, 5-2, to Warhawks
The <Illinois Warhawks:team#74> topped the <North Carolina Aviators:team#8>, 5-2, in Frontier League action at Todd Berry Memorial Field. The standout performance belonged to Illinois pitcher and Commerce Township, Michigan, native <Jeff Parker:player#11493>. In 7 innings, Parker surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 5 and  walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. The 4th-place Aviators have lost 7 straight games.

The Warhawks got a big at-bat from shortstop <Pat Johnson:player#7561>. For the game, Johnson was 1-2 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run  home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Illinois a 3-1 lead.

"I thought we played a nice game," Johnson told the Illinois Today. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
