Hayashi Finally Fails, Streak Ends at 25
After 25 games, <Soichiro Hayashi:player#9940> had his hitting streak ended abruptly today by the <Washington Resonance:team#91> at Meta Park at the Dog House. The <California Bulldogs:team#93> first baseman failed to get a hit in 5 at-bats, bringing his tenure in the national spotlight to a halt.

Despite the tough day at the plate, <Hayashi:player#9940> seemed unconcerned after the game, talking instead about the Bulldogs taking a 5-4 victory from the Resonance.

"It was good while it lasted," Hayashi said. "If it had to end, I'm glad it ended with a victory."

Hayashi is hitting .302 so far this season with 33 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has 105 hits including 3 home runs, 13 walks and .333 OBP.
