Hayashi Goes on Rampage Against Bears
There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget.

<Soichiro Hayashi:player#9940> of the <California Bulldogs:team#93> had one such moment at Meta Park at the Dog House today, when he went 5 for 5 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and California fell to a 12-6 defeat to the <Colorado Bears:team#2>.

"This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 25-year-old first baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game."

<Soichiro Hayashi:player#9940> singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

Hayashi is hitting .246 for the season with 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 48 hits in 195 at-bats and played in 46 games.
