Big Day for Herman: Swats 5 Hits
A jubilant <Logan Herman:player#12011> joined the postgame press conference at Silver Hawk Landing today to offer some unusual words of encouragement -- for the <St. Cloud Silver Hawks:team#60> pitching staff he had just vanquished.

"It may not have looked like it," said the <Ocala Pippins:team#98> first baseman, "but I saw some awful good pitches today. If luck hadn't been on my side it might have turned out a lot different." 

That would not have been the conclusion of anyone who saw his dominant 5-for-5 hitting performance, which led the Pippins to a 17-4 win.

"He made it look easy," said  , manager of the Silver Hawks. "We never figured out what to do with him. Obviously."

<Logan Herman:player#12011> doubled in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

Looking at his stats this year, <Herman:player#12011> has compiled a .353 batting average, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 23 runs. He has played in 32 games and scored 20 runs.
