Terriers Prevail, as High School Wildcard Series Goes to the Wire
It was a rousing finish to the High School Wildcard Series at Thunder Bats Ballpark today.

The <Long Beach HS Terriers:team#170> sent the <Garrettsville HS River Cats:team#152> home for the season with a 8-3 win in the decisive game of the series.

The Terriers took the series 3-2. Up next on their schedule is the High School LCS.

Hauling in the MVP trophy was Long Beach HS left fielder <Jeff Robert:player#9768>. His numbers included a .333 batting average, 9 RBIs and 6 runs.

"With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the High School LCS," he said.

The <Long Beach HS Terriers:team#170> will play against the <Nashville HS Predators:team#169> in the next round. Nashville HS won their series against the <Calgary HS Flames:team#174> 3 games to 0. The High School LCS schedule will be announced after the High School Wildcard Series finishes.
