Great Day for Romero -- 5 Hits
Even as a kid, <Luis Romero:player#10105> said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Ballpark of Milwaukee HS today, Romero showed how well he learned that lesson.

The 14-year-old second baseman had 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the <Wasco HS War Lords:team#151>, helping his team knock off the <Milwaukee HS Saints:team#161> by a score of 17-0.

"They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did today."

<Luis Romero:player#10105> hit a two-run home run off <Matt Hancock:player#10559> in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off <Dave Keefer:player#6272> in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
