C.J. Allen Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year
The doctors have spoken and <C.J. Allen:player#10321> of the <Menlo Park Marauders:team#104> didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Allen sustained his season-ending injury during the <Greensboro Green Sox:team#40> game yesterday at Green Sox Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the <Menlo Park:team#104> medical staff reported <Allen:player#10321> had a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 11-12 months.
