Zarate Grabs ULE Reliever of the Year Award
At the age of 24, <Luis Zarate:player#5192> says he still has a lot to learn about life in Union League.

But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the <Ocean City Crabpots:team#25> reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2056 East Reliever of the Year Award.

"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the  Bartlett, Illinois native said.

For the season, Zarate had 24 saves in 48 relief appearances, which totaled 57.1. He fanned 63 betters, while walking 17 and put up a record of 8-2 to go with his 1.26 ERA.

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. <Bob Carlson:player#6908> of the <Cooperstown Greats:team#36> finished second in voting, while <Chip Jordan:player#7294> of the <Vancouver Canadians:team#35> finished third.
