Lund Gets Award for Relief Work
At the age of 23, <Rex Lund:player#5205> says he still has a lot to learn about life in Confederation League.

But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the <St. Cloud Water Wolves:team#48> reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2056 West Reliever of the Year Award.

"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Scottsdale, Arizona native said.

For the season, Lund had 14 saves in 65 relief appearances, which totaled 138. He fanned 197 betters, while walking 67 and put up a record of 10-9 to go with his 2.54 ERA.

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. <Johnny Charron:player#8842> of the <Bend Beavers:team#46> finished second in voting, while <Pat Wilson:player#5071> of the <Spokane Indians:team#97> finished third.
