Swamp Things Win League Championship Series
The <Sanford Swamp Things:team#58> are riding high after winning the League Championship Series and eliminating the <Tallahassee Raccoons:team#62> by a series score of 4-2.

The final blow came tonight at Tallahassee Field, when Sanford secured its spot in the Liberty Cup with a 7-6 victory.

"It feels good to put them away because we really didn't want to let them crawl back into this series," said third baseman <Francisco Cabrera:player#12750>, who was named series MVP. "A team like that, you need to bury them when you get the chance."

Cabrera certainly helped his team's cause, as he hit .400 with a .444 on-base percentage in the series. He also chipped in 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The <Sanford Swamp Things:team#58> don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the <Bradenton Bucs:team#69> - <Pensacola Wahoos:team#72> series. Pensacola leads the series 3 games to 2. The Liberty Cup schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
