Colorado Loses Jesús Bernal for Season
The doctors have spoken and <Jesús Bernal:player#10011> of the <Colorado Bears:team#2> didn't like what he heard. The 30-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Bernal sustained his season-ending injury during the <Texas Spurs:team#73> game yesterday at Arlington Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the <Colorado:team#2> medical staff reported <Bernal:player#10011> had shoulder inflammation and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months.

So far this season <Bernal:player#10011> has a 8-10 record, 28 starts, 151.2 innings, 132 strikeouts and a 5.34 ERA.
