Mata Tags Miners for 5 Hits
<Hilton Head:team#109> third baseman <David Mata:player#12253> could do no wrong in today's 10-3 win over the Miners as he collected 5 hits. 

"Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Miners skipper   said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts."

<Mata:player#12253> agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game.

"Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."

<David Mata:player#12253> singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off <Angel Flores:player#6661> in the 8th.

So far this season <Mata:player#12253> has hit .303 with 17 home runs, 60 RBIs and scored 79 times.
