Streak Finally Over, Nakamura Held Hitless
The hitting streak that <Sanford:team#58> center fielder <Michiomi Nakamura:player#11453> had kept going for 23 games was ended today by the <Ocala Pippins:team#98>. Nakamura was stymied over 4 at-bats today, but the rest of his team picked him up, taking the 5-1 victory at The Swamp.

"Hitting streaks come and go," Nakamura said. "It did put a little pressure on me. It's hard to be natural at the plate with something like that always in the back of your mind. If it had to end, I'm glad it was in a win."
