Rooks slugs 2 home runs, Twin Towers Move to 41-14
Behind a solid performance from center fielder <Nicol Rooks:player#10304>, the <New York Twin Towers:team#78> defeated the <Ontario Blue Pirates:team#77>, 5-1. Rooks went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Twin Towers. <Richello Quiogue:player#8933>, the winning pitcher, is now 7-3. He went 7.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits, while fanning 9 and walking 2. The first-place Twin Towers have won 18 consecutive games.

New York took a 4-1 lead on Rooks's 11th home run of the season. The 2-run  home run, which he hit off <Cristo Mota:player#7028> in the bottom of the sixth, propelled New York to the win.

Rooks told the New York Bulletin: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
