AFBL News: First-Year Player Draft
Lost in all the hoopla of today's amateur draft are the young men who won't be going first, tenth or even fiftieth. Many of them will probably never make American Federation Baseball League rosters, but one and all will be spurred on by the possibility that someday they'll be playing on a championship club. <Illinois:team#74>, <Alabama:team#3>, <Oregon:team#75>, <Minnesota:team#5> and <Ohio:team#79> will have the first five choices.
