Rooks Whacks 3 out of the Park for New York
The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the <Texas Spurs:team#73> today.

"We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Texas manager <Matt Yordy:manager#60> said. "<Rooks:player#10304> hit the heck out of the ball."

In addition to the homers, <Rooks:player#10304> collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs.

"Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings."

<Nicol Rooks:player#10304> struck out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off <Frédérick Martineau:player#619> in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off <Frédérick Martineau:player#619> in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off <Terry Tillson:player#4089> in the 9th.
