College League Championship Series Goes the Distance, Arlington College Prevails
The <Arlington College Hurricanes:team#125> and <Angola on the Lake College Skywarriors:team#127> didn't hold back anything in the College League Championship Series, with each team pulling out all the stops in an effort to advance to the College Cup.

Arlington College won the final game by a score of 8-2 at Arlington College Grounds and that concluded the series, 4-3.

"Relief is the biggest thing," Arlington College center fielder <Jesse Baker:player#9496> said when asked how he felt. "It's a grind both mentally and physically to have a long series like this, but our guys stuck with it and Angola on the Lake College deserves credit for the hard fight."

Baker paced the Arlington College offence and earned MVP honors. For the series, he hit .444 with a .448 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 7 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The <Arlington College Hurricanes:team#125> will play against the <San Luis Obispo College Monsoon:team#118> in the next round. San Luis Obispo College won their series against the <O'Hara Township College All-Stars:team#112> 4 games to 1. The College Cup schedule will be announced after the College League Championship Series finishes.
