Mules End Green's Streak
<Nevada:team#178> first baseman <Joe Green:player#2877> came into today's game against the <Missouri Mules:team#176> on a hot streak. He left on a cold one.

The Mules did their jobs well, beating the <Nevada Piranhas:team#178> 10-8 and holding Green hitless to snap his 20-game hitting streak. The 26-year-old first baseman had a few words to say after finishing 0-for-4, telling reporters only that he "came up short."

"What <Joe:player#2877> did was exciting and quite an achievement," said Piranhas manager . "It's tough enough to get one hit in this league, much less go 20 games in a row. I'm even more proud of the way he handled the press coverage. He never let the frenzy get to him or affect his play."

So far this year in 32 games Green is hitting .356 with 1 home run, 19 RBIs and 20 runs scored.
