Lahoda 5-for-9 for Steelheads
<Ken Lahoda:player#4046> was at the head of a <Idaho Steelheads:team#92> hit parade today at Albertson's Field. The 35-year-old went to the plate 9 times and came away with 5 hits, but it was the <Illinois Warhawks:team#74> that marched off with the 10-7 win.

"We didn't have it today," griped Steelheads skipper   following the game. "Ken did fine, but as a team, we didn't do it with the bats and we didn't do it pitching."

Lahoda did more than fine, dominating the Warhawks at the plate during his record-making 5-for-9 performance.

"Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging third baseman told reporters. "When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats."
