Mendia Torches Browns for 5 Hits
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but <Long Beach College:team#114>'s <Marco Mendia:player#11251> made it happen today against the Browns. Everything came together at the plate for the 19-year-old first baseman as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Seahawks to a 14-2 win at Browns Ballpark. 

"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Mendia said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." 

<Marco Mendia:player#11251> struck out in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off <Alberto Lujan:player#10179> in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and tripled in the 9th.
