Moonshots: Gonzales Knocks 4 out of Sight
Nothing could stop <Danny Gonzales:player#6948> today -- certainly not the <Detroit HS Red Wings:team#172> pitching staff.

The 17-year-old left fielder for the <Tucson HS Pioneers:team#137> sent 4 baseballs soaring out of Pioneers Stadium and made his name a part of history. Behind his barrage, the Pioneers took a 21-6 win over the Red Wings.

"In the standings, a loss is just a loss, but this one was frustrating," Red Wings manager   said later. "He clobbered us."

Gonzales's dream game included 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 homers, 9 runs driven in and 5 runs scored.

"I know all the stories are going to be about me today, and that's OK," Gonzales told the press in the locker room after the game. "Next time, it'll be one of the other guys."
